BEFORE YOU HUNT

  • Trespass Permits are issued to eligible hunters by Alturas Ranches, LLC. Hunters must have their hunting tags at the time of issue.

  • Trespass Permits must be displayed clearly inside your vehicle or carried on your person while on Ranch property.

  • Trespass Permits are offered for Upland Game, Waterfowl, and Squirrel.

  • Permits are strictly enforced. No animal may be taken other than what is issued on your permit by Alturas Ranches.

Wild Game

Here on the ranch, we have a robust game population. Bordering the Wildlife Refuge and protected National Forest, our Ranch's habitat complements the local ecosystem. With the great Pit River winding through our property, wildlife freely roam among the protected areas and the abundant forage that our fields provide.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Tags must be drawn before guided hunts may be booked or deposits received. Drawings generally take place around the second week in June.

Location

We are located in the coveted X3a and X3b hunting zones and sell trespass permits for 31,000 acres full of Mule Deer, Antelope, Ducks, Geese, Quail, Dove and Squirrel.
